Meanwhile at home, Nathan isn't quite sure what to do with himself. Paige tends to be the ring leader when she is here and she directs their play. He ADORES his big sister and has missed her a lot during the day. Thankfully with two parents home, he has been given extra attention. I'm afraid next week will be hardest on him as Paige will be at school, I will be at work and Daddy will need to divert much of his attention to Samantha. I am praying for patience for both of the men in my life...big and little!
I am also praying for our Sammie girl. She woke up with a cold yesterday...actually all three of the girls at our house have it, but she is the most pathetic. Until this point she has handled it well with no fever, but I think this morning has brought a turn backwards. We may be headed to the doctor. It's hard to watch an infant battle illness. I am so thankful for her overall health, as I know many people have seriously ill children and have to suffer through their pain. There is a part of me that wants to put her in a bubble until the Spring, but I know that is not possible. I just wish people who are sick would stay clear! Oh well...it's all part of the adventure, right?
