There is no place like...

HOME!!!!

And this one will soon be ours! After almost 2 years of being at the beach and renting,

we are jumping back into home ownership. The house is much more house

than we were looking for, but with foreclosures-a-plenty down here

and the horrible market, we got it for a great deal.

We have seen many houses and had a few offers that went sour, so I tried not to

get my hopes up for this one. It was technically out of our price range and just

a different stage of house than what we were considering. But when we toured

it for the first time, I couldn't help but see our little {growing} family settling

in quite nicely. Many bedrooms {which are technically already full}, a wood burning

fireplace {to complete my dream of re-enacting the perfect Christmas morning like

when I was a kid}, an amazing kitchen {not that I spend much time there these days}, a

private backyard {although we were told the small pond has been home to gators...we

may need a fence}, most importantly, Paige gets to stay in the same school!

The kids were with us when we toured the house. When we were tucking Paige in for bed

she asked, "Mommy, am I going to live in the very beautiful house?"

So sweet! We have fielded the question many times in the past 3 weeks and were

finally able to tell her, "YES! We will all be living in the very beautiful house soon!"

Lots of packing to do.

We are excited...and so very blessed! We can finally make our house our home!
