Mike actually had a three-day-weekend for the Holiday, so we've been filling every moment possible. I'll post soon about our getaway without kids. That is, once I get the FILM back from the store since we forgot our camera. Go figure!
We decided that tonight was a great night to try "miniature golf." It was under 90 degrees at 5 tonight, so we thought we'd take advantage of the "cool" weather!
Paige seemed to catch on pretty quickly and really liked it! Nate, on the other hand, had NO interest in the putter or hitting the ball. He was determined to throw the balls, particularly into the water. We quickly realized that he is too young for this adventure as we noticed not only the amount of water surrounding the course, but the lack of deterrents in place between our son and said water. It's a miracle he didn't jump in!
Paige got a hole-in-one!! She was SO proud!
Despite the humidity and the anxiety-producing water, we had a great time! We learned that next time, we'll leave Nate with a sitter and bring a few bottles of water!
