Today's TOP FIVE!!

My dad is an English teacher. Ok, so he is officially retired, but he will ALWAYS be a teacher to me! There are a lot of things I remember from my childhood due to his career as an English teacher...helping him grade tests, spending a day with him at school each year to help clean his office, being corrected on my grammar, hearing strangers rave about how great he was (like I didn't know!), but one thing that sticks out was hearing his Top 10 lists. He and a buddy he taught with would create these crazy things like it was their job! So in honor of my English teacher Daddy...here is Today's Top Five list of Things I'm Most Excited About...

#5...(Did you know you always start with the highest number and work backwards on Top Lists?)...JOINED A NEW MOM'S GROUP AND WILL MEET SOME NEW LADIES TOMORROW!!

#4...LESS THAN A CHAPTER LEFT IN MY BOOK...TIME TO CHOOSE A NEW ONE!

#3...WE ATTENDED A NEW CHURCH TODAY THAT EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY LOVED! (Thanks, D&L for the invite!!)

#2...DISCERNING WHERE GOD WANTS TO TAKE ME ON THIS JOURNEY...AND ENJOYING THE RIDE!

#1...OUR TRIP TO NEW YORK IS LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AWAY!!!!! Not sure what excites me most about this, but here are a few ideas...hugging my niece and nephew, sitting on the couch at mom and dad's just chatting, coffee with the girls, listening to the kids play together, enjoying Thanksgiving dinner with lots of family, spending HOURS with my sister doing whatever we choose but simply being together!!! I can almost feel the frigid air already and I certainly hear the laughter!!! Can't wait!!!!
