It has been quite a while since Nate had his first hair cut at the Barber Shop, but I am finally getting around to organizing pictures from that point. Nate was bald for a long time and eventually started growing white peach fuzz. He always had the cutest mohawk because it is pin straight like his Mommy's hair. Eventually, we decided it was time for him to look like a boy. We took him to the Barber Shop Mike always went to in town. As you can see, Nate wasn't a big fan!
Things started off really well...

But then the sensation of the falling hair and the sounds of the clippers all around him got the best of his emotions...(NOTE:entrance of the paci...I know many are opposed to them, but I thank God for them every day!)
The chair just wasn't going to cut it so Mommy rescued him for the last few snips...
The end result...
The lady was great and took it really slow with him. She also sensed my "Mommyness" of a first haircut and didn't take much off. He still looked like he aged 2 years to me! The best part...NO CHARGE!!!
Being my youngest, it feels like time goes faster with Nathan. I lose track of milestones, important dates, etc. At the same time, there is something so amazing about a little boy! The looks he gives me, the needed exercise he forces me to produce while chasing him everywhere. He is such a fun kid! He gives hugs and kisses like crazy now...but on his terms! That just means when he does it is that much more priceless!

LOVE THIS!!! And I love that you're posting more pics! Oh, he is so sweet! You look just like you did in college...haven't changed a bit!
So funny about the kisses thing - Jordan does the same thing! Kisses only when he feels like it - so it melts your heart when he does!
