As we approach our "moving day," I find myself ever more aware of how fast time goes. The reality of leaving has started to sink in, along with the avoidance of packing and saying goodbye to those we love. I have lots of pictures to share...Paige's birthday, Nate's first haircut at the Barber Shop (the need is evidenced in the above picture), Father's Day, fun summer stuff, etc. Those will come when our life settles down a bit, so practice your patience.
Things truly are happening too fast for me to explain. We have decided to rent a house for the first year. Michael's parents took it as their mission to find the perfect place for our family. We have settled on a small 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home in a small community. It is only 2 years old, so it seems to be in great shape! I simply feel frazzled! Between my two jobs, packing, saying goodbye, planning for the other end, etc, it gets a little much for me. Sometimes I look at the house and my "to do list" and convince myself it will never get done! Yet it must...and it will!!!! I am trying to cram everything we love into these last few days. Emily and I are doing a garage sale this weekend...yup...officially crazy!!!! It gives us 2 days to be together and for the kids to play, while hopefully making a little money. Being far away from them is the biggest drawback to our move. Not only do the adults love to be together, but our kids are like siblings. Words can't express how sad I am to leave my sister!! Love you, Em! I hope to update again before we go, but no promises!

Here's a shot of the new place! Small, but we always have room for visitors!!!!!
