If you were one of the people who received our Christmas letter, you may recall that the theme was "TRANSITIONS!" As we reflected on 2009, it seemed clear that our family had faced transitions around every corner. From a major move South, months of unemployment, sending our oldest to Kindergarten, Michael obtaining too many jobs and working countless hours that left us mostly a family of 3, losing said job, Elissa accepting a full time job and Michael becoming a stay-at-home-Daddy...just to name a few. Along with that reflection we were quickly reminded of our Faithful Father who carried us through each step and taught us how to trust Him more fully, love one another more deeply and remain focused on HIS priorities for our life. Overall, it was a great year for our family.
Well, 2010 has begun with it's own introduction of TRANSITIONS!!! In August, we will joyfully welcome another life into the Viele family! Although the timing was surprising to us, we rejoice that God has blessed us with another precious miracle. And even though the full transition won't occur for months, the early signs and preparation have begun. Take these few examples...everywhere we go Paige breaks out in her new song entitled, "Mommy's having a baby!" We have not had to actually tell many people because she beats us to the punch. My pregnancies have pretty much had a lot of trends in common. True to form, I have been quite sick all day, every day since about week 5! I eat constantly, change my mind about what sounds good within seconds and fall asleep after being seated for 2.4 minutes...not matter where I am!
Needless to say, this explains the severity of my exhaustion. I try not to complain, realizing that this constant sickness typically implies a healthy baby...so I try to embrace it.
I hope to post some Christmas pictures soon (taken with my new Canon Rebel...thanks for the input, Kelle!). That is, if I can find a minute while running between the kitchen and the bathroom!
