Despite the fact that THIS post was written in June, and Nate has been happily sleeping in that space since it was written...
THIS remains the largest piece of furniture in his bedroom today...I have provided many viable justifications for why it remains assembled in recent weeks. The most logical is that it converts into a Full size bed frame, which we have always planned would go to Paige. We just haven't gotten around to buying the mattress and accessories. Another realistic justification is that I need to wipe it down before storing or using it, but the only free time I have for cleaning occurs while Nate is sleeping in the same room. Even I can acknowledge that a few weeks of those stories is viable, but it has been 4 months! So, I'll leave it to you to make a final determination. Am I avoiding removing it because I'm too lazy, because it seems like a waste of time to un-do and re-do within a matter of weeks (we have been looking for a good deal on a new bed for Paige and are actually working on it), or is it still there because my heart still sees Nathan like THIS... and I just can't quite get my heart and my head to meet in the same place yet?
