Not Me! Monday

I've been reading MckMama's blog for quite a while now. She is Stellan's Mama, who is on my right sidebar in need of prayer! She leads a bunch of blogging ladies in a "Not Me! Monday" experiment each week to give us a chance to share some of the more embarrassing things we've done in the past week, without taking any acceptance of them. If you haven't been to her blog, check her out here. I decided anything that may bring a little humor to my day can't be bad, so here it goes...

Some of you have already read about Paige's performance at preschool in the "3 Piggy Opera." It was adorable and humorous all at once. And even though I was vividly presented with the reality that she is no longer a little baby and will soon be headed off to kindergarten, I was most certainly NOT one of those crazy Mama's who cried during the performance. It was a cute show, I would never shed a tear during something so sweet...NOT ME!

And if you saw me driving down the road last week, you most certainly did NOT see me singing along to the McDonald's "KIDZ BOP" CD that has taken permanent residence in my car CD player. You know...the "High School Musical" gone-bad music that kids get for free in their Happy Meals now. Honestly, it's quite painful to listen to and there is no way I would ever waste a breath singing along...NOT ME!

If you're interested, you can check out other people's "Not Me" Monday posts by going to MckMama's blog. Everyone can use a little laugh on a Monday!

Oh, I am cracking up. We just got the above mentioned "KIDZ BOP" CD last night at McD's. Ugh. It's horrible...and I most certainly was NOT singing along with it either ;)! Oh, and as I was NOT singing along with it...I was NOT thinking to myself "How can these kids be singing about "romantic love" when they have no earthly idea what that is!?" HA!

And yes, you can add me to your list if I can add you to mine! :)

Hope all is well. Your kids are so cute. Paige is getting to be such a big girl...being in school plays and all!
