FINALLY...I think it's safe to say that Spring has arrived! We have had some glorious weather the past few days. Here are a few signs that we are finally entering my favorite season...
1. JEEP-TIME

We have been playing outside every spare minute we can get our fingers on. The outdoor toys have been cleaned and prepped for new adventures!
2. FIRES AT PAPA AND NANNY'S
It's staying light longer and the evenings are so mild, so we are brushing up our fire-making skills! The kids could stay out there for hours.
3. SPRINKLER TIME
When the temperature hit 80 yesterday, it was time for water fun! Paige has never been the biggest fan of water. This was as close as she would get to Diego until I ran through with her. Maybe by the end of summer she'll run through it long enough to get soaked...doubtful!
4. DRIVEWAY ART
Every time we walk by the chalk box in the garage Nathan starts squealing in hope of one swipe with his favorite color. Needless to say, when I finally dragged them off the shelf yesterday, his joy was complete! And what a change watching Paige create her magic. She was writing names, practicing letters and creating our family...preschool is working!!!
5. EASTER CANDY
(not to mention...my FAVORITE on the list!)

When a package arrived at my door yesterday with my parents' return address...I began to salivate. I am severely addicted to these jelly beans, and I have only ever found them at Wegmans, which is a little far for me to venture to these days. Thankfully, I have a dad with a memory better than my own and I knew when I saw the box that he had thought of me while at the grocery store. They are even better than I remember. Probably because it meant more arriving in a special package from NY! You may notice that the salivating was a bit too intense to give pause for my typical 2 day "shelf-life" of the Peeps before eating them. What can I say...some things are too good to wait for!
I knew Spring would come, but I forgot how fun it would be!

How wonderful!! At least someone is having nice weather! Nothing but rain, incredible winds and cold temps here. Yuck!
I was in AC Moore the other day and saw they were selling the Just Born jellybeans. What an odd place to find jellybeans but I immediately thought of you. Your package from home reminded me that I meant to email you that tidbit. Just enabling a friends sugar needs ;)You're welcome!!
Hugs to you all
So are these your favorite jelly beans before jelly bellies? Your dad is the sweetest! And I am VERY envious of your outdoor pix! I can't wait to go outside again! Soak up some warmth for me!
I definitely know that we are related now. Peeps and jelly beans are my favorite, too. I especially love peeps when you open the package and wait (that is the hard part!) for a couple of hours until they start to get hard on the outside.
