Thank you to all who have sent messages or made phone calls of support and concern. It means a lot to know others are praying with us. We have made no official decision yet, but I am leaning towards turning down the interview. Lots of factors to weigh and consider...where do we find security, what does a career mean versus a passion, what scenario best enhances our family TODAY, as well as 5 years from now. There have been lots of scenarios thrown around the past three days and lots of "what if" questions.
Meanwhile, Mike is officially working!! He started yesterday and had a riveting day of training videos! Today was his first day actually working and he made a sale! I guess it comes back pretty quickly!
We are adjusting to the new schedule. It has not been as bad as I had thought. He works from 12-8. With Paige at school from 8:45-12, they see one another for breakfast and then she is in bed when he gets home (although she knows it's not long before he gets here, so she waits up and starts calling for him once she hears his voice). He has been able to stop in on his dinner break mid-day so she sees him for a bit. It is strange to have dinner without him and to do night-time routine without him. Thankfully the kids are great and we make the most of it...and live for the weekends! I will post once our final decision has been made!
