I feel like I have repeated myself a lot on here lately, but it amazes me each day how quickly milestones are happening. Some are big, some are little...but they all mean these kids are growing up!!!
Typically when Paige wants cereal for breakfast, Nate will insist on the same thing. I usually pour some dry cereal on his tray along with a banana and he is content. Lately, this has not been true. He has been frustrated and refuses to eat the cereal. I finally realized the other day...he probably wants his cereal in a bowl with milk like his sister. He wants EVERYTHING like his sister these days! I have contemplated the milk thing before, but my desire for neatness and structure always seems to take over...I'm working on it!!! So we went ahead and gave it a try...I could almost hear his thoughts at first...
"Why is she giving me that bowl...WAIT...is that milk in there?"

At this point, there was no need to read thoughts or minds...
just look at this face...
This is what remained after two helpings of Cheerios...
To some, this is probably one of those "small" milestones...but I disagree!! I am realizing more and more that EVERY milestone is a big event!! Every little lesson learned or achievement made takes them one step closer to maturity!! I will go ahead and be redundant again...I am SO thankful to be given the blessing of being home and watching these daily milestones!!
