We are officially in South Carolina...and getting settled slowly. We spent the day Thursday packing the moving truck. Thanks to Michael's father, my Uncle Dave, Michael's cousin Mark and my cousins Nicole and Casey that came off without a hitch! The truck was packed by dinner time. With 5 adults, 2 children, 2 cars and 1 very large moving truck we traveled 900 miles and arrived at our final destination Saturday night around 7:30. We drove Friday until 5:30 and stayed at a hotel for the kids to swim and run a bit. Then we headed out at 9:00 on Saturday and arrived around 7:30. Mike's folks and his brother all flied in to help with the trip. WOW!!! Is that love? We appreciate their willingness to help because it would have been a really tough trip with just the four of us! The trip was long, but the kids were amazing and the adults survived!!! It is now 3:30 on Sunday and the truck is completely empty!! We will take our time getting settled and spend a few nights at Michael's folks house. There will be more updates to come...with pictures. I just wanted to let everyone know we are safe and sound. It certainly does not feel like home yet, but we are thankful to be safe and together.
