Ordinary day

Today is one of those ordinary, not so exciting days! We were all taunted a little yesterday in Western NY. It was 60 degrees, sunny...perfect! Since we haven't really seen 30 degrees consistently in months, it felt like a heat wave. Well, I should know by now (I've lived here all but 2 years of my 30.5 years) that we aren't done with snow yet. Now, only 24 hours after taking a great family walk around the neighborhood and dreaming of all the things we can do outside this spring, we are having a "winter weather advisory" and they are anticipating sleet, hail, and LOTS of ice! So now my mind quickly races to hopes of yet another priceless snow day tomorrow! There is always hope!
It's during the ordinary, blah kind of days I try to hold on to the truth that I am so blessed! No matter what the weather is, or if I'm forced to work that day, God has given me so much to praise Him for. On a bad day, my life is a lot better than most people I come in contact with during a given week! Here's to hoping for a phone call at 6am tomorrow!!! I'll let you know!

Hope you got your snow day! Your new pictures are precious! If I lived up there and had snow days with you, I'd lug Lainey, some movies and some good stay-inside food to your house and we could sit and catch up! Snow days are so divine! And Happy Belated Birthday little Nate! (loved his cake!)
