Being a Mommy!

So I returned from my 3 day work "get-away" in one piece! I learned that "getting away" is not all it's cracked up to be. I will blog later about the actual training on Embryo Adoption...WOW!!! Here are a few things that I realized quickly in my two night stint at being a traveling business woman...
*Despite having full ownership of the TV and remote, I was still not able to find anything worth staying up past 10 to watch!
*Although I was almost excited to have two nights alone to catch up on sleep, I soon realized that I still wake up frequently in the night wondering if my kids were ok.
*My internal alarm is set at 5:30 no matter where I am sleeping.
*A peaceful uninterrupted shower is almost unnerving to me these days. I kept waiting for someone to walk (or crawl) in requesting assistance with something, and actually was sad when it didn't happen.
*Getting myself up and ready for the day with no other tasks left me feeling very unproductive at 8:30 in the morning.
*I have an amazing husband who did a phenomenal job at being Daddy and Mommy for those days...including sleeping in Paige's bed during a horrible power outage!
*Being a Mommy is ALL I NEED!!!! Nothing else compares in relation to rewards, benefits, blessings and just a pure peace!
These bathtub pics are where my heart lives while I'm at work! Those simple seemingly monotonous moments of motherhood which some take for granted. I eat up every second of those simple moments!!
