Our baby is 9 months old today! Where has the time gone? Considering he is our second and the most mellow kid ever, it seems like he just arrived yesterday. At the same time, it seems that he has ALWAYS been a part of our family and we can't imagine life without him.
Nathan is a model of contentedness. He has been "yucky" for a while now. Runny nose, slight cough...it's going around. I finally gave in to my "mother's gut" yesterday (with help from Kara's "mother gut") and took him to the doctor. Sure enough, an ear infection! Will he ever tell us when he hurts? He's on medication and will go back to the doctor tomorrow to re-check his oxygen levels. Pray he is better so we don't have to start nebulizer treatments again!
As I celebrate (and mourn a little) as he approaches his first birthday, I am overwhelmed again at how blessed we are! For some crazy reason, God chose us for these kids and allows us to wake up each day for another lesson in love!!!
